Effective October 24, 2009 Rye Township will no longer offer the fourth Saturday of the month recycling program due to the success of the 24/7 recyling program. Recyling bins are now provided in the gravel parking lot beside the Township 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience. Anyone needing assistance with dropping off their recycling, please contact the Township office at 717- 957-2348 to arrange for assistance. Thanks for recycling!! Keep up the great work!!
Wood Recycling
In addition to the following items permitted for recycling, the Township receives and chips brush.small limbs, and Christmas trees at the Township Building. The chips will be provided to area residents on a first-come, first-served basis, and also will be used to maintain the Park trails.
